When I originally began making my own Shea butter, I did so with my niece and nephew in mind, who had been dealing with a slight case of eczema and easily irritated skin. When nothing the doctors prescribed was helping, I began doing research on natural ingredients that could be used to alleviate some of their suffering. I then created my first batch and gave samples away to family and friends and the feedback I received was not what I expected (in a good way).
